Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026

Overview

This policy explains what information iAutoworx ("we," "us") collects when you use our website and mobile repair service, how we use it, and who we share it with. Using the site or booking a service means you agree to this policy.

Information you provide

When you create an account and book service, you give us your name, email, phone number, and service address; your vehicle's year, make, model, and (optionally) trim, mileage, and VIN; a description of the issue and, optionally, photos of it; and, if you request an invoice payment, billing details processed directly by our payment processor (see "Payments" below).

Information collected automatically

We log basic page-view analytics for our own use — the pages you visit, referring site, browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This is first-party only: we don't use third-party ad trackers or sell this data, and it's used solely to understand how people use the site.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Schedule, confirm, and perform the service you request
  • Send appointment, invoice, and payment-related emails
  • Respond to questions you send us
  • Keep a record of your vehicles and service history in your account
  • Understand and improve how the site is used

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly and is subject to its own privacy and security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1).

Before / after photos

If you upload photos with an appointment, they're visible only to you and our staff by default. We only ever feature a job publicly (for example, on our homepage) if we've gotten your separate approval to do so, and even then we show only a general neighborhood — never your exact address.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that keep iAutoworx running: our database and authentication provider (Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email delivery provider (Resend). We don't sell your information to anyone or share it for third-party advertising.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your account and appointment history so you can view past service and so we can provide ongoing support. You can update your profile information at any time from your account. To request that we delete your account or the personal information we hold about you, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.

Security

Your data is stored with row-level access controls so that only you (and authorized staff) can see it, and all traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.

Children

Our service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
